Riftbound Radiance is coming to Zauberkram: All info on the set
Riftbound is coming to Zauberkram and we are kicking things off directly with Radiance! The fifth set of the League of Legends TCG will be released on October 23, 2026, bringing new champions, mechanics, special card variants, and plenty of collecting potential.
With Radiance, Riftbound turns the spotlight on the grand performances of the League of Legends universe. Music, stars, and champions are at the heart of this set, and in keeping with that, Radiance features an eye-catching, colorful look.
For us, this release is also something special: With Radiance, we are newly adding Riftbound to our product range at Zauberkram.
At launch, you can look forward to booster displays, the Showdown Deck featuring Evelynn and Seraphine, and the Radiance Vault Bundle, among other things.
We will take a closer look here at what awaits you in the new set, which new mechanics are being introduced, and which Radiance products will be available from us.

What awaits you in Radiance?
Radiance is the 5th set of the Riftbound: League of Legends TCG.
The set comprises 180 cards as well as over 60 showcase cards and brings, among others, Ekko, Evelynn, and Seraphine more into the spotlight.
Thematically, a lot revolves around the grand entrance.
Riot describes Radiance as a set about the moment when everything is at stake and you have to deliver at the height of your abilities. Fittingly, music, bands, and striking stage aesthetics play a major role.
You can see this not only in Seraphine but also in some of the set's special collector cards.
Three new mechanics: Deploy, Show Off, and Disarm
Of course, a new Riftbound set brings more than just new artwork.
With Radiance, 3 new mechanics are being added to the game.
Deploy – Equipment directly onto the battlefield
With Deploy, certain Gear can be played directly onto a battlefield.
As long as the Gear is located there, it grants its corresponding bonuses.
However, this is not entirely without risk: if an opponent takes control of this battlefield, the Gear positioned there is destroyed.
This makes the decision of which battlefield you reinforce even more important.
Show Off – show what you’ve got
Show Off lives up to its name.
Certain cards can unlock an additional effect if you reveal a matching card from your hand or from your board.
This creates new combinations and possibilities in deck building and, of course, a mechanic called Show Off fits quite well into a set entirely centered around stages and spotlights.
Disarm – weakening enemy units
With Disarm, you can reduce the Might of an enemy unit when attacking.
Multiple Disarm effects can amplify each other and suddenly turn an unfavorable combat in your favor.
The mechanic is somewhat reminiscent of Assault, but places the focus on reducing the strength of the opponent's unit.
Equipment becomes even more important
Radiance also develops a card type further that already found its way into the game previously.
Equipment Units were already prepared with Vendetta. With Radiance, the concept now receives additional significance: through Orianna's Legend effect, Equipment itself can become a unit.
However, there is an important difference to normal equipment: if an piece of equipment becomes a unit, it is automatically discarded if an attempt is made to equip another unit with it.
This creates some unusual new possibilities for decks centered around equipment.
New Bomb Tokens 💣
There is also a new addition among the tokens.
Radiance introduces Bombs.
You can, in a sense, leave these bombs with your opponent – and the more of them that come into play, the greater the effect can be in the end.
How strongly Bomb strategies will ultimately prevail in the game remains to be seen after the release. Thematically, however, they fit perfectly with some of the set's champions and cards.
Radiance for collectors: Overnumbered, Showcase & an extremely rare card
Radiance should also have plenty to offer for collectors.
In addition to the regular cards, there are once again special illustrations and variants.
Especially interesting are the nine new Legends of the set, each of which can also be found as Overnumbered versions.
Some of these can additionally appear with an art signature.
HEARTSTEEL gets special Overnumbered cards
One of the most striking card series in Radiance is dedicated to HEARTSTEEL.
For the Overnumbered versions, the members of the virtual League of Legends band get a modern fashion look.
Featured members include K'Sante, Aphelios, Ezreal, Yone, Kayn, and Sett.
Visually, these cards are already among the most interesting Radiance artworks for us.
And those who not only play Riftbound but also collect specific champions or artworks will have plenty to hunt for with Radiance.
A new Ultimate Rare
Radiance also features the 2nd Ultimate Rare in the history of Riftbound.
And Riot is significantly cranking up the rarity once again.
Across the entire print run, on average, only about one out of 4,000 Radiance boosters should contain an Ultimate Rare. This corresponds to an average appearance rate of around 0.025%.
Important: This is expressly an average across the entire print run. An Ultimate Rare is neither guaranteed in a booster display nor in a case.
Which card will be the Ultimate Rare of Radiance is set to be revealed later in the preview season.
What is inside a Radiance booster?
Riot has also already released the exact composition of the boosters.
A Radiance booster contains:
- 7 common cards
- 3 uncommon cards
- 1 foil slot with common, uncommon, rare, or epic
- 1 rare or epic
- 1 special slot with a chance for rare, epic, alternate art, special alternate art, overnumbered, or ultimate rare
- 1 token, rune, or alternate art rune
- additionally an information card
The special slot in particular should be exciting for collectors, as several of the more desirable card variants can appear there.
Riftbound Radiance at Zauberkram
For us, a new chapter begins with Radiance.
From this set on, Riftbound is officially part of our TCG assortment.
At launch, we are focusing on three Radiance products: the classic booster display, the Showdown Deck featuring Evelynn and Seraphine, and the Vault Bundle.
🃏 Riftbound Radiance Booster Display
A classic should of course not be missing.
The Radiance Booster Display contains 24 booster packs with 14 cards each.
In total, the cards come from a pool of 180 cards as well as more than 60 showcase variants. The new box art features Ekko and Seraphine, supported by Ziggs and Jarvan.

The display is especially suitable for anyone who wants to open larger parts of the set, is looking for new cards for their decks, or wants to hunt for special Radiance variants.

⚔️ Evelynn vs. Seraphine: The Radiance Showdown Deck
Two completely different performances collide.
On one side is Seraphine, colorful, radiant, and center-stage. On the other side is Evelynn, who counters with a significantly darker performance.
The Radiance Showdown Deck contains two pre-built decks with 56 cards each, with which you can compete directly against each other.
Additionally included:
- 2 Radiance Booster Packs
- 2 paper playmats
- 1 rulebook
This makes the set particularly well-suited for two players who want to try out Riftbound together without having to build their own decks first.
Riot plans to reveal the full deck lists on October 16.

✨ Radiance Vault Bundle
Anyone who wants to combine boosters and accessories will find another option with the Radiance Vault Bundle.
The vault includes, among other things:
- 6 Radiance Booster Packs
- a complete set of 36 Runes
- Foil tokens
- a storage box
With this, you not only get new Radiance cards but also the right foundation for your rune selection and a box to store your collection.
Visually, the vault also stays true to the bright, almost iridescent Radiance design and prominently features Seraphine on the front.

Which Radiance product is right for me?
If you are a new Riftbound player and want to play right away, the Evelynn vs. Seraphine Showdown Deck is the most straightforward start. Two ready-to-play decks are already included, so you can practically get started right away.
If, on the other hand, you primarily want to open Radiance, collect, or expand your own decks, the booster display with 24 packs is the obvious choice.
The Vault Bundle is in between: six boosters meet runes, foil tokens, and a practical storage box.
