Sometimes the best stories don't start with a finished plan, but with an honest question: "How can we get better for people, nature, and the future?"

This is the question we are currently asking ourselves. Not because it's a trend. But because it feels right.

We are still at the very beginning. No parade of certifications and no feigned perfection. But what we can promise you is this: We are serious about it. And we will take you along on this journey.

What we are already doing

Even small steps count, and that's exactly where we are starting:

  • Shipping with Awareness: Depending on the shipping method, we use DHL GoGreen or GoGreen Plus. With GoGreen, transport-related CO₂e emissions are offset through investments in certified climate protection projects. GoGreen Plus starts earlier and supports measures for emission reduction within the DHL logistics network, such as alternative fuels and electric trucks. Our shipping does not become emission-free as a result. Nevertheless, we believe it is right to use both options permanently.
  • Packaging with Responsibility: We strive to make our packaging as environmentally friendly as possible: as little material as necessary, as sustainable as possible. Plastic? Only if it cannot be avoided – and even then, only as a temporary solution.
  • Product Selection with Perspective: When it comes to new products, we are increasingly looking more closely: Where do the materials come from? How are they produced? Can we source more fairly and resource-efficiently in the future?
  • Material Choice with Responsibility: For our 3D prints, we use PLA (Polylactide) – this plastic can be made from renewable raw materials such as corn starch or sugarcane. Nevertheless, PLA remains a plastic and does not simply break down in nature or on a home compost. For us, the material is therefore not a perfect solution, but currently a practicable compromise.

Where we want to go

Our goal is to view sustainability not as an extra – but as part of our identity. This requires time, research, conversations, and the courage to change. But we are on our way:

  • We want to transparently show what we are doing (and what we are not yet doing).
  • We want to build more environmentally friendly supply chains in the long term.
  • And we want to build a shop that gradually handles resources more responsibly.
